At noon yesterday, on a whim, I (Alan) decided to go to the Lexington area with two stops on the way. One was Ivanhoe's at Upland for ice cream and one at a camera shop in Indianapolis to buy the new, incredible Canon 50mm "L", F1.2 lens to take with me. This morning we went to Pleasant Hill, KY which is also know as Shakertown. It was cold and raining all morning but the lighting inside the buildings and outdoors was wonderful. There were no other visitors, just us, and the staff left us alone. Here's a few examples of what I photographed.
    Jeff and Brenda (Monroe) Esslinger, married NOV 1  Happy Halloween! Jeff Esslinger and Brenda Monroe celebrated the Holiday at their wedding rehearsal!  Keith & Sarah (Rakoczy) Stephenson were married on October 18th at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia. The reception was at a beautiful restored mansion in Columbus. Congratulations!  Congratulations to Julie (Dempsey) and Nate Scheiber, who tied the knot on October 11th!  and check out the gorgeous ring bearer and flower girl!   Nick & Jennifer( Cunningham) Stevens, married on Saturday, Oct. 4th  Ashley Morris & Andy Thompson - getting married May 02, 2009   Skyler - 1 Year  Alan and Colleen's grandson, Isaac, is already 1 year old!  go to top |
